JohnK
I have a friend who needs to keep his speedo in KM/H but also wants to remove the stock J-spec top speed limiter and have a 300km/h dial. As standard 180km/h is around the 3 o'clock position so just replacing the dial face will mean the readings are way out. Any idaes please.
Jspec Germany
I was in the same boat. Tell him to get a TRD 320kmh unit. Straight swap. That's what I did. I'll post pics later. I'm at work ATM.
JohnK
I think he is looking for a cheaper method.
Pete
I know the Thor speed converter is variable, but to what extent I'm not sure. You could possibly use one convertor to feed the speedo and another true mph speed for the odo and rest of the system. Just buy a TRD gauge. jot_ie
use a thor speed converter delimiter That should delimit the car and give you your readout in mph so 180 km/h on the stock clock becomes 180 mph now just replace your dials done john

It still applies Just replace the dials with a km/h one If the dial is properly calibrated, which a reputable one will be. Where the stock would read 180 mph it will now read roughly 290 km/h

Guru
So he wants to go from 180 top end to 300? Why? I am the other way round!!! It is difficult to read an accurate speed when the distance is so small on a 300km/h dial......
