b_have
Removed my a/c pump and made a torsion brace to support the pwr steering pump, so now I need a shorter belt. Done a mock-up measurement and seems to be around 1833mm. Anyone know for sure the size required and where to source one?
MONKEYmark
mate not got back to me yet. ps got this info off scooter Arnout said "1873 I think" when i asked him. So you basically need a belt with the reference 6PK1873. The little book you get in Halfords has lists of similar belts 6PK1953...1763 etc etc. If i need to do it i'm going to go for a '1873' or slightly smaller. Unfortunately i didn't find an exact match in the halfords book (but i didn't look long just at some possibles - ie larger v6 engined saabs vauxhalls etc) However the belts are available in 5mm intervals over the range we're looking at so i suspect it could be specially ordered by halfords, or another good (better) motorfactor. Gazzawu
think you can get the Gates K060747 belt if u remove the a/c pulley.
Scooter
Done a mock-up measurement and seems to be around 1833mm. Anyone know for sure the size required and where to source one? further to Monkeymarks post, i did a on car measurement/estimate and it came out at 1845 ish. I recently got a cheap belt from halfords (HB1900g) that i thought might do (mines a possible temporary thing so not as crucial). I think it may be a bit long (can't think if the 1900 relates directly to the length, i'd have to pop in Halfords to check) I would be willing to post it to you, if you want to try it, i think it will go round everything but it may well leave the tensioner in the 'worn' range for a standard belt, it you see what i mean. It should give you a fair idea of what size is a perfect/better fit though........

So, it may be 1833 / 1845 / 1873 any more offers? Has anyone actualy done his mod?
