Filling holes in urethane bumpers?

Is this possible?

 

I ask because i'm not particularly keen on the later style side indicators for the front bumper, which unfortunately the Stillen front has holes for.

they can be plastic welded and basically filled with filler rod,would need some normal plastic filler to finish then paint

 

or you could fibreglass the holes from behind then fill would be a cheaper option(probably the route i would take to be honest)

But TBH the side indicators do look good IMHO once on...

Theres some urethane/plastics that Fiberglas wont stick to, so it might be a good idea to try a test patch first! let it harden and then flex the bumper and see if it cracks away.

as above it might be better to us araldite to stick some ally mesh on the back then use filler, roughen the hell out of the urethane with something like 90 emery first for good adhesion

When i worked for a custom painters doing bikes, we had a plastic welding kit for repairing dmaged fairings which are the same material i think! Basically a kind of blowtorch and plastic rods. If you could find somewhere that has one, they probably wouldnt want much to do it. But i would say some of the other options mentioned would do the job
