What boost will i be able to run with this setup?

From my experience it's have to be a serious winding up of the fuel pressure, say 44psi or more. Even then I'd be sceptical of running 1.4bar, especially high up the rev range where the duty window shrinks ever smaller...

At least up top you shouldn't get a boost spike above your target max boost. I see spikes when the turbo first gets on song, my own can hit 1.5bar before the boost controller manhandles it back to 1.4bar, but at 4000rpm that's not an issue on the fuelling capacity front. If your boost controller never lets the boost get above 1.4bar, and I mean not even to say 1.45bar (at high revs), then it'd be sort of borderline OK. If it does go beyond 1.4bar it could be messy. But then it's all down to the AFRs and the duty cycles you have - if you're getting sub 12:1 afrs at 6500rpm at 1.4bar, and pulling less than 95% duty you're fine

Auto box can handle about 500?? Thats about the limit of a T61 anyway. Must be honest though, would be pretty gutted if it went pop! Run the car with out the TC fuse, would have thought that may help end the auto box's life early!

dude here before was runngin 640bhp thru standard auto, probably not in the best of shape then? the car looked in amazing condition tho..

Thats not all together true.....its a bench mark figure, its the torque thats ultimatly going to make the box let go, not the power figure

Just wondering what boost i will be able to run with this setup!

UK Spec

T61

550cc injectors

Greddy 3 row front mount IC

I would rephrase the question:

Just wondering what power will I be able to run with this setup?

This is more easy to answer, 500-550bhp.:)

Boost is not a good indicator of power, it is merely a static pressure measurement. It doesn't even indicate airflow very well. (which is vital, as airflow = oxygen molecules = fuel molecules paired = bhp)
