Daston Posted April 15, 2006 Share Posted April 15, 2006 Hi guys Fitted a smaller momo type steering wheel yesterday and it seems less responsive than the original plus I now need to turn the wheel far more than previously due to it being a smaller diamitor is there any why to adjust the steering so that it becomes more responsive as I dont really want to drive the car at high speed and need to turn the wheel 180 degrees to turn a corner Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mattanna Posted April 15, 2006 Share Posted April 15, 2006 Hello mate just reading your thread, are you sure bolt is tight on the spline or that the splines have not sheared, unlikely, but any wheel bolted to the same steering shaft should turn pretty much the same, you only have a difference of 3cm from original cheers Matt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Chris Wilson Posted April 16, 2006 Share Posted April 16, 2006 Test it by seeing if you can put full lock on WITHOUT the engine running, that will ceate a lot more effort and load on the splines.
