Guru
To be honest even if the thing had huge wings I still would have the Supra over a SCOOTER!
JohnA
so based on those figures my dads mate is talking arse .. Not necessarily, why would he know that there are cars beating these figures? Most cars would struggle to catch up with such a scooter.

I'm just curious of the spec of a 650cc scooter. i didn't realise they made engines so big for a scooter. plus i hate it when people can be so adament about things they really don't know like this fella saying his scooter is faster than all road cars, it would be nice to prove him wrong with a few examples. JohnA
Honda make a similar scooter, costs more than a proper bike actually. This old timer is happy with his scooter. Why shatter his world? Let the man be...
terribleturner
Steve i remember watching some show on M&M a while ago about MODIFIED scooters that were doing quarter miles in 11 secs and under. I was really amazed because they were just twist and goes.

Animal
There used to be a company in Preston donkeys years ago who fit TZR250 motors into Lambrettas & the like. The only way you could tell was if you saw the bigger expansion chamber on the zorst poking out from under the side panels. I got embarassed a few times at traffic lights by these buggers. Loads of scooters out today, like bloody midges!
