I'm about to spend a month or more in Tokyo with work and am tempted to nab a manual TT back with me in my suitcase. Just wondered if there is a tried and tested method I could follow, or if it will be a steep learning curve and plain minefield!! Homer Posted April 14, 2006 Share Posted April 14, 2006 Self import is hardly worth it unless you have trusted connections on the Jap side. Jurgen (JM-imports) has an extrenely good reputation for importing top class cars. For the sake of a few hundred quid import fees its just not worth doing it yourself anymore.
