I always remember Dude telling me of the pain of running in the Terry's old purple car after he'd rebuilt it... "500 miles without boost, its f*cking embarrassing dude, I was beaten off the lights by a Mini yesterday" :D

 

Get ready for some of that action!

James, good luck, glad its all going back now..........lucky bastard having your engine out though, I would be cleaning every inch while I had the chance.....

 

I have heard one TT with the big ends gone, and it only rattled on start up, then eased off, just thought I would say after the debating aspects of it from what someone was reading about big ends should be heard all the time.........

I used to build bike engines too. Worste was running in my race R1. I used to wear a sign in my back saying " Running-in. Pass while you can"

Seems i took home the wrong conrod yesterday :banghead: Would have been in there all tucked up today if i hadn't left it at home DOH!!!! Oh well everythings in place and new oil pump on.

 

What's happened to the car Darryl?? Give me a shout tomorrow if you want anytime after 12.
