Faye
The headrests aren't adjustable, taking the headrests off is a pain in the neck, but can be done with some effort. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48634&highlight=headrest+removal

edd_t
ive always wonderd what it was, never played about with it though, cos i just presumed you clipped the seat belt behind it when no in use. but if its not got a clip, who knows!

Guest N.KREFT
I believe it may be something to do with the seat belt, with regard to maybe stopping the seat belt rubbing a hole in the seat when pulling it out and on retraction ! Does this sound plausible?
NeoFuture
i shall check that theory tommorrow

Animal
I've wondered about that, too. I figured it was to hold the seatbelt, maybe to stop it rubbing, but as I only notice it occasionally when I tip my seat forward, I've never bothered trying it. I'm going for a smoke in a minute, I'll go try it out.
Animal
And the answer is... Yes, you can slide the belt between it and the headrest and it'll grip the belt for those people who don't like seatbelts to touch them. I've never understood this, myself, but there you go.
