Shaun.
If it wasn't for the M1 comming out a few months just after the DS8's launch it may have been more popular, I still have mine and love it because, as you say, it's not so common and so a hidden gem. Charlotte
I'm glad I didn't see it. My uncle was diagnose with Altzemers (spelling?) a few months ago. It's really terrible to see. He hasn't a clue who Vicki is, where we live etc... My step-dad's mum has it. She has always been a bit scatty but we didn't really think anything of it at first. It's really sad for everyone IMO it's worse than them passing away. Thought they did an 'ok' job in corrie portraying it in the way they did. Shaun.
Yup, Got 5 of the original library, "my sound" is a patch called "Lead&8verb", sums up what the DS8 is/was. We may be in danger of getting thrown out here with all this nostalgic non supra talk Shaun.
Green Peace
Corry was never the same after Valerie Tatlock died. God we both gettin old he he...was that in black and white 405 lines? I never forget the scene when Stan Ogden died, and Hilda sat at her dining tableunwrapping a small brown parcel from the hospital with all his personal things in front of her and his legendry glasses....I was v young when i saw it but..it really choked me, even the famous flying ducks on her wall looked depressed! Corrie is great..I just about remember Ena Shaples with that stupid hairnet...and Albert Tatlock complaining because somebody had a VW beetle, and he thought it was an insult to people like him who fought the Germans during WW2...that Soap goes from Strength to Strength... My Dear ole Mum would set her wall clock by it when she was about, wasn't allowed to call her whilst Corrie was on the telly..no matter what! The acting and storylines are outstanding..no other soap washes like Corrie does;)
