I'm running stock 17" wheels Cheers, Paul About 15 to 20 mm at the front and about 10mm at the back, the Supra suspension geometry goes to pot if lowered a lot. Nick Posted December 1, 2003 Share Posted December 1, 2003 Terry - Been on holiday so I'm a bit late in replying. After giving up trying to find a set of Ohlins the shocks were supplied by Bathurst. Why is this, i have just put some new alloys on and the gap in the front is quite big compared to the back, can it just be lowerd at the front or does it have to be all round?? Paul Laing Posted December 2, 2003 Author Share Posted December 2, 2003 Gaz, when i get these 19s will i need to lower the beast, or did it look ok when your 19s were on? i can't remember but i think it looked ok, if i wanted to lower it can you get custom springs for me, where i choose how much it's dropped? I've been advised that 19" rims won't do the handling any favours but then it depends what you want the car for. At the end of the day, everything's a compromise.... They compress under load (bump), and extend again (rebound). The rate of the bump and the rebound can be altered by changing the valving in the damper.
