I have a friend of the female variety who has a Ford Escort 1.6 Ghia (S reg) and is having problems with the fuel pump (or so she thinks). She has been quoted about £200 + vat for the part only without fitting and I was wondering if anyone knew of an alternative make that would be a cheaper option to the OEM quote?
