cashpoint
Looking at buying a new run around, but advert says needs a VIC inspection. The seller has been honest and has said the car was in a accident damaged front bumper, written off by the insurance company but repaired and put back on the road. Where can you get a VIC done on a car. Can an MOT station do it?

absz
heres a link on how to get a vic test http://www.vosa.gov.uk/vosa/carlgvowners/vehicleidentitycheck/vehicleidentitycheck.htm vic test is required on cat c vehicles, but it does not have to be heavy damaged to be cat c these days. all that is inspected is the vehicles id to make sure its numbers all match up. only then you can apply for a v5 logbook.
