colsoop Posted March 11, 2006 Share Posted March 11, 2006 Thanks cj, the intake manifold is polished then chromed, then i maksed it off to have powder coated it was a pain as the glue from the masking tape stuck to the chrome so i had to go over it with a very softmop . It is definitely the way to go, you can have too much bling and braking up the shine with colours is a good thing :)the trick is getting enough layers of masking tape on the part as it is sand blasted before being coated to clean the surface up and if you dont have enough tape then you have problems.
