Sharpie
I have done a search but, can't find it.... I remember reading that there is a cooler in the rad for the Auto cars. 1, Is this an Oil cooler ? 2, Is it in both jap and UK cars ? 3, Is it sufficient for a BPU car ? 4, When would you need to think about adding an additional oil cooler ? Sharpie
Just read Oil in the water post... CW says "If the car is an automatic it will have had a transmission oil cooler in the bottom of it. " So, what's the reason UK Autos have the Air - oil cooler too ? Still need answers to 2,3,& 4 please
dude
I allways fit a proper trans cooler to any high performance auto , the ones in the rad are just not efficient enough IMO , now ive got a Hi-Stall converter coming im even fitting fans to the coolers as well Dude:flame Dev

eyefi
power braking and hi stall converters put alot of heat into the trans oil. put a temp probe in there and see how things go. cooling things down while power braking is a big problem cos theres not much air moving around, but a water to oil cooler will still work.
