randy
I am thinking of buying a front strut brace. Can someone tell me their impression on whether it improved the handling - cornering or feel of the car? Thanks:)
Thorin
The cusco one is good but then there's not exactly a lot to them is there. Can't say I've noticed a difference with fitting mine, but then I know I don't drive anywhere near the limit round corners. Maybe if I'd done a track day before and after I might have noticed. randy
Does the car feel more planted going over rough or bad roads? I have an issue with pot holes here! Thought it may help me if I used a strut brace?
Thorin
Nope, I honestly could tell no difference. Looks cool and shiney under the bonnet though, isn't that good enough? I'm sure it probably does make a difference but I don't drive it on the limit much to notice, and I think thats probably the only time you would notice it. The supe is pretty stiff at the front already I think.
randy
Thanks m8! I ordered a HKS ti exhaust and was thinking of getting this along as I am being charged a packet on dimensional weight so I can get the strut free of shipping cost! tDR
Best thing you could do for those pot holes is to fit lardy soft UK spec suspension, then you'll just wallow over em. TBH a strut brace will make your problem worse if anything, most likely will do sweet f*ck all tho!
far
Hi Randy - Slightly off subject but the last time I visited India the roads where really bad with most people driving around in jeeps /4x4's I feel sorry for ya dude + the traffic is quite hairy at times. randy
Bought it anyways! I wish I could cruise like you guys on smooth roads unfortunately roads are bad in most parts of the country, but are improving! I still manage to find some good roads to run up to about 200-220 km after that it depends on how much risk you are willing to take?
far
The roads her suck aswell dude - and claiming damages from the council for buckled rims is near enough impossible.
randy
Roads here are mainly messed up due to OFC{optic fibre cabling} Idiots keep cutting the roads! We are leap froging technology here at the moment! We now have broadband 512kpbs lines. Next year we will have 3G? I guess we are paying a heavy price for development. Traffic is an absolute nightmare!! The infrastructure can't keep up with the growth!
