stt Posted February 17, 2006 Share Posted February 17, 2006 Put red hammerite on the disc centres and the calipers of my old car,It had green stuff pads of which the paint was supposed to withstand temperatures of 600 degrees.....That promptly came off but the calipers good fandango! black cat Posted February 18, 2006 Share Posted February 18, 2006 ive always used hammerite, never had a problem. rub down with wet and dry and get as smooth as poss. spend more time doing this and a flat smooth will come out perfect. dont rush it. however in this temp its almost too gluepy......... take car out for a run and warm things up a tad. not too hot mind or ..........
