Pig
Hi mate. That sound is your RLTC. have you managed to locate your adjuster? Set this to wet, go into a carpark and floor it on full lock, this will tell you the answer!
imi
also...locate your diagonostic LED and if this is flashing then your RLTC is operational.

You'll have 2 led's. A red one, usually on display near the adjuster, will only come on if you switch the adjuster fully counterclockwise to the off position. There should also be a green one hidden away near a serial cable. The green one is the diagnostics led. The diagnostics led will give different reading depending on what position the adjuster is in. Four of the positions will flash with rotation of each individual wheel, and one will flash in time with rpm.
lambertpig
hi, thanks all, the red led does not come on at any position so it is either disconected or faulty. cant find the green led where will this be?. been roaring around in the wet today and had to go very fast to break the back away.as suggested went to my local b and q car park and floored it on full lock the car is auto and the rear didnt spin round i just drove round in circles.however switching off traction didnt seem any different. when i switch off the factory traction switch the traction off light still comes on should this still be the case with rltc? sorry guys im still none the wiser
Matt Harwood
The only 'off' light the RLTC has is the red LED. When you were driving around in circles, did you hear/feel the car misfiring? You should have done. To find your diagnostics LED, locate the silver RL box, it should have two plugs on it. The smaller one is the one with the serial cable and diagnostics LED attached.
