Just getting my own back for showing me the na-t kit:p

Git!

You have a helicopter?

What type.

I've had a Robbe Mosquito and love it

I had one of them too...now got a Century Hawk Pro. Been through a few TBH but settled on the Century for one reason ..I can't fly the sodding things....so keep breaking them..

Even got an ICO Piccolo to practise on indoors...LOL if that's what you call it...more like lets see how many things I can hit:rolleyes:

Nearly bought a Piccolo myself. How easy and realistic is it to fly?

That Hawks a nice looking model.

Don't think I've seen one before.

How did you find the Robbe to fly because I'm finding it bloody hard.

Alwasy seems very uncontrollable around ground effect, then I start to panic :D

I also have a microlight thingie which is great fun as its so slow and easy to fly and a massive scale P-51 mustang that will never fly as I don't want to crash it. :search: :hide:

Well I bought one of the very 1st piccolo's so it has no colective control. So it's a fixed rotor. Bloody good fun but very very twitchy. In the ooh 3 years i've had it i've managed a handfull of good hovers out of it before it decides to get intimate with the funiture. Good thing is they just fly apart and you can just snap them back together , so they can take some abuse. I haven't had to buy a part for it yet notice i say yet.

Now the Robbe I moved up to from a Hirobo Shuttle, This might be in my mind but between the shuttle and the Robbe I had a big gap in flying, but when I took up stick again the Robbe felt far more stable than the shuttle ever did. But the time away from it proved to be my dowfall, smash after smash Just led to expensive bills LOL and that was just trying to hover the git.

So in came the Century Cheap as chips, good build and cheap repair parts And also very upgradeable. The nice thing about the Hawk/Falcon is that rotor and boom size is not that far off a 60 size model, so it makes it far more stable than the smaller size choppers.

TBH I am back to being a fresh learner again . I used to be able to do circuits and hovers and autorotations ect ect no problems when I was younger. Now I'm back to bouncing round the floor like a loon and trying my best not to clip the blades. So I know what you mean about having the bottle just to get a nice hover and stable ..Nightmare isnt it!.

Fixed wing was so much easier, why did i ever want to fly helis LOL i was actulay good a fixed wing . Helis are a total different ball game. Must find somewhere and get back into it ...its been a long while.

Good pic ..at least you can hold a hover long enough for a pic. I cant LOL You got balls i got a big hoola hoop;)

I've had a nice new body shell since that picture was taken.

Also, those training balls weighed a tone (not literally ;) LOL) so I bought some lighter ones.

Never really managed to master flying circuits, then one day the belt that drove the tail rotor snapped and the copter started to spiral uncontrollably untill,... CABoOM :(

Had to rebuild the model from scratch and I never managed to set-up the controls the same as before, pluss the autogyro hasn't worked the same so flying is almost impossible.

Want to try again this summer.

The 6ch is the one that was released 2 months after I got my 4ch. I would say the 6ch would be more in line and realistic with your Robbe as it has collective control, and if you fancy a bit of inverted flying to stick it to the ceiling.

I just got the 4Ch wich is a bit more lets say forgiving when you crash as there are less parts to break.
