Roy
evening guys - am coming to the end of a self-imposed 3 mth ban on spending any dosh on the supe (having spent a fair packet by my standards! already) and am looking for as much reliability as possible from the beast. i have the current mods so far (engine-wise) : hks type S i/c, 264 in/ex cams +gears, walbro pump, FCD/SLD, FSE, UK spec discs, blitz SUS induction, downpipe, hiper exhaust, blitz BC, racelogic TC, turbo silicone hose kit and i/c + rad hardpipes plus other bits n bobs like hks tt, braided brake and fuel hoses, s40i sparkies, defi gauges etc etc. i have the following coming in : new rad, safc 2, erl WI kit and a hks sqv bov. i have also been thinking of the following - bigger injectors, fuel rail, hks DLI, underdrive pulley (if applicable?) and i suppose ultimately a single or hybrid set-up i am trying to lay the groundwork for reliable power so what else do i need to consider / purchase ie oil/tranny coolers? proper air ducting? nose-cone? spark leads? undertray? does any of it have to be done in any particualr order ? any thoughts/suggestions would be most welcome - thanks... Alex
Bigger fuel system is defo next for you. This could take about £6-800 to complete - how much more do you intend to spend this go? bigger injectors could up the price UK 550's to aftermarket 680's should suffice. The fuel rail is not a priority unless you go mad
Roy
not overly mad but i guess 600-ish cc sized side-feeds would do it but i take your point about the fueling - doh, how did i miss that! i haven't budgeted the dosh yet but am looking to do things in stages (hence the order of mods question) so as to spare the wallet too much grief ... Bobbeh
Alex, what is the stock UK fuel system good for supporting, BHP wise?
Alex
Terry has used a modded stock rail upto 600hp I believe. The stock rail is very good - what limits it is finding the injectors to fit it. At some stage you have to change purely for fitment reasons. Bobbeh
Ok, thanks for the info
Roy
alex - thats what i was led to believe as well hence the look-out for side-feeds ... which should fit the stock item unless i am mistaken? i am more worried about the engine not having an excuse not to perform within it's optimum parameters thats why i was wondering about things like oil n tranny coolers ... if that makes sense. dude
thought you could get 800 cc inj. in the stock rail:p John:flame Dev

Roy
i take it that there really isn't much else to do (other than what was discussed) but pray for reliability then ? thanks guys
