Rob
Might be a question for Chris Wilson here. I had to swap my 2nd cat back in and out, to pass my MOT, and used assembly paste on the "flanges". Now my decatted Hiper seems a little bit quieter than its usual howling racket. Do you think that if there's any blobs within the pipe at the joints, that this would disrupt the gasflow enough to change the exhaust note? If so, I'll be ordering some of your HKS gaskets Mr W. Love the description Rob, subtle. It could be that you have introduced a lip of paste in the pipe and as you suggest it might cause a change in the note JMHO.
