jamesmark
hi guys my car goes in for a top to toe on saturday and there is a few things i know will need to get sorted but nothing major i hope, but one thing i am dreding is being told that my front suspension has failed as its raised at one side just now. now as i have just got the car and if the worst is confirmed i am looking for to replace the whole of the cars suspension as god know when the rest will fail. have already contacted nic but i need it quicker (sorry nic for putting you to the trouble of finding a price) what would you recommend i have about £900 to play with all in none of this excluding vat rubbish that some sites do (that pisses me off), want something as close to keeping the car flat round corners but easy on the long hauls as travel to scotland a lot and its a 500 mile round trip and to clear the speed bumps i dont know if £900 will cover that? not up on the suspension scene is the oem toyota ones just as good? cheers mark
Ian W
different people swear by different setups mate. i'd either go for a full CW set-up which i think is out of your price range or the yellow optional bilsteins with std springs.
jamesmark
have re edited the post as want something that keeps the car flat as possible within price obviously
Ian W
well, feel free to see what other people have to offer in terms of preference. have heard a lot of good and bad stories about Tein or you could use the bilstein dampers and just change the stock springs to Eibach or Espelir (sp?). i live in scotland and think it'd be hard to beat the stock setup using the optional bilsteins to be honest on our roads. jamesmark
aye thats why i want a suspension that keeps the car flat for when i am back home in scotland, as the roads are to straight down here (for my taste's) how much and where do you get those CW ones you mentioned
Ian W
like i said mate. either stock setup with the optional yellow bilsteins or visit Chris Wilson in Shropshire who will do his for approx. £1200 i think although best to check with him obviously (he's a member on here)

Nic
just out of intrest nic the price you quoted me in the pm which set was it? are they on this page and if so which ones? http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/supra-suspension.html I gave you prices for the Tein Super Streets with and without the top mounts, the prices I gave you included delivery also. I think those prices are before VAT and delivery. I may have also given you a price for the Bilsteins dampers and Tein springs, can't remember.
