Alex
Stock Toyota was £435 inc vat. Fluidyne was £475 ex vat last time I looked into it.
Roy
thank you alex - it see3ms like it is potentially more worthwhile to go with an uprated item as the prices aren't that far apart. i may look at a custom-made item with a larger capacity just to be on the safe side. thanks all ... Roy
much appreciated alex. what is the conventional wisdom regarding the fluidyne units ? is it really quantifiably better or is it a feel good thing ? are there any other things to bear in mind when looking at a new radiator ? Alex
They have more capacity so should be better...however I think the Koyo rad's might be better still. FWIW - I've not heard anything bad about the Fluidynes, though many were put in after their OEM equivalents reached end of life. So the comparison was not fair. If you see what I mean. Roy
thanks alex - was so busy looking and comparing the pwr n fluidyne ones that i failed to take note of the brand. it does seem like the best fitment/capacity item there. the fans n oil/trans coolers were also interesting .... Alex
I'm not saying buy from them, it was just a referance point - might be worth contacting your local tuner/parts people, PaulE/Dude or Envy to see what they can do...
Roy
yep - have begun scouting around already - thanks again.
