The car was parked outside my house, which makes me think it was one of my neighbours, Very quiet cul de sac. You would think better of your neighbours ?? There is one particular women in the close who should no way be behind the wheel of a car!!! I myself have seen her hit one fellow neighbours car, and most of the other neighbours have seen her hit other cars too. She insenced me on boxing day buy parking infront of me, I looked out the window and thought my god i`d better go and check my car, she had left about 1 1/2 inches between her bumper and my front number plate.

Fecking woman should be banned from owning a car !!!

Mine is an extremely quiet place too, but my astra has footprints on the roof and the bonnet, as well as numerous scratches and dents from people kicking and keying it (along with anything else that happened to be parked on that side the road at the time)

I, too, had antisocial neighbours hitting my car on purpose 'by accident' in a shared parking space. Not easy to prove, even with security cameras. Even worse is to start a 'tit-for-tat' cycle of revenge and vandalism, you'll all end up with the fire-brigade picking up the pieces.

 

I chose to move to a place with far less people/sq mile, so the 'contention' ratio for space is far lower. There are still issues, but nowhere near as many.

It sounds really bad saying this, but a lot of the time I think its the elderly.

 

There is an old women that lives near me and I wont park next to her because she is she bad at parking, her car is literally covered in marks.

 

Some old people could scrape your car and not even notice!

 

That said there are a lot of old drivers that are good, and a lot of younger drivers that will hit and not leave a note without giving it a 2nd thought.

Thats true Adrain, there are plenty of elderly peolpe where I live but fortunatly they either don't drive now or they are good drivers.

Sorry to hear this, happened to me alot - got a run around and I Have noticed a difference in my mental well being. People might say you have to be rich but as john has said he has a car of little value. It also allows you to experience euphoria when you get into the soop. Hope it gets sorted and not at too high a cost to ya.
