Justin
What grease should I put in the tubes on the calipers where the sliding pins slide into pepes? Ta. J
Rob
I've always used moly grease, dark grey stuff, with no undue effects. Someone more knowledgeable may be along shortly. Check your little rubber bootees as well, cos they always start to split.
Soonto_HAS_soop
Copper Grease is a brilliant tool. Can be found on any bolts that I have ever removed from my car. It stops rot and lubricates any bolts not used for a while. It's especially good on curing brake pad squeak. Ben..
Alex
Moly grease. Copperslip ain't the stuff for that particular application, its a sliding pin not a bolt
Terminator
I am with Alex and Rob, I would go for something light like Moly Grease or Teflon Grease or similiar, I have some in a can, you may borrow some when you bring my spanner back;)
osso
Any high melting point greece will do, personally i'd get myself a tub of RED LINE CV2 Synthetic Grease from demon tweaks. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/ Never use copper grease on the sliding pins, they will wear and seaze up in time! only use the copper grease for bolts, copper grease should only be applied to the backs of the pads and the aint squeal shims
