Patrick_Devlin
My SMIC has passed its best and is need of replacement and as I'm very tight for cash right now I'm trying to gauge how difficult it is to replace this unit myself (to save on installation costs). I've never removed the front bumper before so I dont know the best order for unscrewing, removing things etc... For instance: How many screws, nuts and the like am I looking for? Where are they? Do I have to take the headlamps out? How do I do this? How long will the whole job take? If its going to be a pain in the arse I may well stump up the installation costs (every penny helps though!!!) Scooter
found the above link by searching on here, but it seems to be out of date, had a quick look on the apexi site in general but couldn't find instructions. Could be worth a detailed look.........
Patrick_Devlin
Scooter, thanks, Had a quick look through the other threads on this and have seen the apexi link. Also another diagram that shows the front and all the screw locations. Still not sure whether its worth me taking it to pieces though. It could all end in tears!!!!
