DShox
sorry those last few posts lost me. whats a Closed Loop Function on a car - sort of have an idea from my Chem Eng uni days. if the stock settings try and fight against it is there some internal engine knackering going on? Guest Terry S
The ecu is programmed with a target Air Fuel Ratio, normally Stoich ( 14.7) for cruising etc. This target is enabled under certain load conditions ( cruise, partial throttle openings etc) to aid economy, and works in conjunction with the stock o2 sensor. This condition is called closed loop control ( CLC)

DShox
how much does it cost to get my car made eco (ahem) friendly? i guess i set the speed at which i want it to cruise on the motorway i.e. if i drive at 90mph generally does the setup make 90mph the most economic speed without causing engine damage or dropping off ounces of performance?
