hi guys/gals

anyone stay in the doncaster/rotherham/sheffield area know of a place that will service my new toy?

how much does it cost

also anyone got any ideas on these 2 things i have noticed

1) the engine idles at 1500-1600 rpm even after a run

2) the passenger side window always gets caught on the roof seal closing the door the drivers doesn't, are they not meant to come down a bit to allow you past the seal? i am scared one day its cold and SHATTER

cheers guys

Hi mate,

Question two: there are adjustment screws if you take off the inner door panel (two if I remember correctly) they are actually on the inner metal skin of the door and they limit the height the window will close to. Seems yours need adjusting a bit?

my window is the same after I had the drivers door replaced. I will get round to adjusting it eventually.

In regards to the question, no the window doesn't drop. My Alfa GTV did, and I beleive BMW 3-series cabs do too, but not the Supra. Incidentally, wind noise was a problem from those windows on the Alfa, but the Supra is great.

Engine shouldn't idle above 800rpm once fully warmed up. If you don't let the engine calm down after the fast-idle period, it will still need time to relax its idle point even after long driving, but if yours is staying high full-stop then there's a problem.
