Supraman
Hi, Can someone explain in layman terms what a code 13 signifies? Thanks in advance.

Alex
Could be cam/crankposition sensor... You could try just unplugging the ECU and then plugging it back in. See if the eerror comes back.
Supraman
See here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35920 Cheers mate. Had a look at this. Would a failed coil cause similar symptoms and error code?

Supraman
Must be getting a counting problem in my old age its actually a code 14...Dooh! Looks like one of my coils has packed in!!
Ian C
It mahy be more likely that the plug which goes onto the coil has fallen to bits - that's the big misfire-at-idle cause. Failing coil packs usually start with a high boost misfire, even seriously buggered ones can idle. -Ian
