hi guys

getting my new supra on boxing day, its a standard 1994 twin turbo (27 and still getting anal probed by insurance) full veilside kit except evo spoiler leather, cruise and a whole other buttons that are in jap and its black.

i posted on this forum with a very decent response well impressed about getting it delimited, i was recommended to use thor as other companies (see the thread supra virgins by me) where leading me up the garden path ................ probably another butt thing

not to sound to thick stupid:looney: as this is my first supra when i get the delimit from thor and have it fitted etc what is it getting delimited too? 155mph as per the uk spec or until it runs out of puff

secondly could someone tell me what the stats are

0-60

top speed (when delimited)

power (as heard about this jap agreement)

cheers guys

mark

Oh and don't ask 0-60, it's about 5 seconds IIRC but it doesn't give a very good impression of the speed of the car - it's a motorway cruiser through and through - off the line acceleration is one thing, but boot it from 70mph and you'll realise the full potential of the car!!

The speed will currently be limited to 112mph: the ECU is responsible for doing this. AFAIK the Thor delimiter (good choice of delimiter by the way!) will completely remove any limit, so it should accelerate until the engine runs out of puff. That happens at quite a high speed, so I'm led to believe! It fools the ECU into thinking the car is travelling at just below 112mph when it is well over this figure, so the car will keep on pulling.

cool, i cant wait to get it if what you are saying i think i will leave any engine mods for a few years as will still be powerful after that as its purely a weekend car

i think i will stick to cosmetics side of things for now..........

some lambo doors is on my list to firstly do, any ideas on where i can get a set?

and that evo spoiler its full veilside so i want a veilside boot spoiler, but can source one of those.

again amazing reponse and cheers to those guys that took time to answer

cheers mark

It is lower because Europe at the time had widely available higher octane pump fuel (Germany, UK even had 98RON unleaded back then, didn't it?)

The USSpec ECU maps are also slightly different due to emissions regulations that were tighter over there (hence their famous 'lean spot')
