just been out driving and at every junction i stoped at it stalled on me starts straight back up. as soon as i put the clutch in and let the revs drop it falls to wel be low the 500rpm mark and stalls but just pulled up on my drive to try and find the problem and its ticking over nicely at 700rpm ish:shrug: theres ecu faults just kept stalling have been noticing the idel being low the last couple of days around the 500rpm and lower.

can you clean the idel control valve?

Might be worth a cold restart of the ECU to start with? It's always worth a go I guess. 5-10 mins with battery disconnected. It will run a bit lumpy after the ECU reset until the ECU re-learns everything again. After that, I'm not sure mate. Someone will certainly know on here and will give you more info I'm sure.

Good luck!

check the fault codes the other day only got fault 42 which ive still cot to take the clocks out and check the joints.

started it up this morning to go to work and it seams fine ticked over just under 1500rpm ish and once warm was ticking over at 700rpm and didnt drop below that all the way to work so it seams to of fixed it self.

Code 42 will almost certainly be a dodgy speedo conversion from kph to mph, or a fault on the odometer circuit board. This shouldn't cause your idle problem.

Reset the ECU as described above (can't remember the fuse to pull: best do a search), then when you've put the fuse back and started her up, blip the accelerator and let the revs fall back to let her catch the idle. Do this 2 or 3 times, then just drive normally. My supe sometimes has a very low idle (500rpm) for no apparent reason. Mine doesn't get to the point of stalling though, and most of the time the idle is fine (700rpm).
