Guest Terry S
Martin I would love to try either. I believe they may help with the pressure caused by the stock filter that contributes to FMS failure.
Terminator
Terry have you tried the V8 filter, it is the same construction as the UK filter, just a bigger so probably less restriction.

Guest Terry S
Gaz I would use aLexus one but I have an Oil Cooler so with the sandwich plate it won't fit. Let me know when you get the TRD ones mate.

Terry, I discussed this with Leon a while ago and he wouldn't touch the Lexus V8 one. He would only put a stock on one as he knew that worked and didn't know how the V8 one would fair. Guest Terry S
Steve I would deffo try it. By all accounts it works just fine. I would like to develop a remote filter setup. May be a project for CW;)

Leon has still got one of my standard Toyota ones which will go on after the first service but I've still got a V8 one at home I'll probably use next - my parts supply has dried up :-(( Don't TRD do a remote filter locator? Is it the extra height of the V8 filter plus the sandwich plate means it won't physically fit anymore?
Guest Terry S
I haven't seen a remote TRD set up. If you could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. The Lexus V8 filter clashes with the body when you have a sandwich plate added.
