rob wild
Hi Guys I want to use my in car computer to show more details about the cars real time stat's especially boost pressure on a second monitor I have for it. I’ve read a few things on the net and forum about the "camp" hks but has anybody used one of these? Or is there something better for showing real time stats etc? Thanks in advanced
Duffers
I've heard that AEM do a nice "straight plug-in" replacement ECU that lets you monitor bits and datalog stuff via a PC. Not sure if its serial or USB. Their site is... http://www.aempower.com/product_ems.asp You probably can hack into the stock ECU but I'm not sure how much realtime stuff you can monitor. I'm thinking about the AEM ECU - not sexually or anything () - just thinking about getting one for the Soop! Good luck! Paul
Ian C
Get your E-manage you mention in your sig and it'll monitor a lot of stuff, the Ultimate monitors almost everything. You would, of course, be using the GReddy software to monitor though, unless you could write some sort of screen scraping realtime interface or even better, interpret the E-Manage data feed -Ian

Would be nice if i could get the SDk Do you have an emanage? I've never seen one in action!

You can measure boost pressure and lots of other things in real time, there is no SDK though, you get the GReddy interface and that's yer lot. The realtime stuff on the Blue is pretty much just a table of things being datalogged and their values, this is improved in the Ultimate with a realtime graphing setup - see attached pic for an example of the things it can log. EDIT I can't upload the bastard picture thanks to work's wanky wanky firewall can I email it to someone so they can post it -Ian

If it was that would be great i.e. like you said if its just data then represent it in a graphical format or I could try and integrate it into my incar pc software
