I have still a problem with SUP and would ask if you could help point me in the right direction. Revs can infrequently be jumpy between 400 and 750 rpm when stood still, a backfire or over rich exhaust bang which is uncommon but related to the latter, reaching 1.2 bar no problem with the FCdefencer in place before rev idle concern, progressing to backfire progressing to fuel cut and 1 bar max on a cold morning? Issue was raised a while back as a throttle sensor concern poss. I am trying to contact Leon on the land line number > a mobile would help as I fear that may be the next step. Thorin Posted July 21, 2003 Share Posted July 21, 2003 Well if it was boosting to 1.2bar ok before but now only getting to 1bar before hitting fuel cut, I can't see how it could be anything else but FCD related. dude Posted July 22, 2003 Share Posted July 22, 2003 Chris check where the arrows are pointing in the FCD in relation to the instructions which you have kept havent you ??? if not get hold of pete betts and get him to send you the settings , your plugs are prob a bit loaded up as the car has been moved around on choke for the last god knows how long , let us know the reason , you going to Billing dude ???????????? Mid_lifecry_sis Posted July 24, 2003 Author Share Posted July 24, 2003 Havent checked the FCD Pete, Options where she's serviced etc saifd the rear bump wouldnt effect the FCD.... its a burnt out coil, kink in the Hyper Muffler Hot weather and the Veilside front bumper and all that cold air being re[placed by a standard so.....
