I have my doubts about " the biggest concern being the use of guns with the public around", they used cherrypickers to mount them, which means they were at height and if the guy can put "several rounds" into a square 4 inch space from a road junction below the camera, I wouldnt have too many fears of him hitting my car.

Two that caught my eye were the guy who was caught speeding with guns and drugs in his car and the hit'n'run who left the scene to return later......presumably after he'd ditched the drugs and guns?

I was in my local gun shop yesterday and saw some "hushpower" shotguns, asked the guy and he said that they were silenced 12 bores and basically you could shoot a mole in your back garden and your neighbour wouldn't notice. So those living close to Gatsos wouldn't loose too much sleep then?

What's a P-plate?

a P plate is used for someone who has just past their test, they have to use the plate(similar to the L plate we use in england for learner drivers) for a year (maybe more),

oh and insurance for cars is pretty cheap which is how this guy can afford the car, I am in Oz now on my hols and have bought a 4ltr ford falcon to travel about in. To register it and insure it Third Party was $52!! and thats for as long as i own the car!! i would only have to buy new tax, which is about $200 per year.

Lucky Ozzies!!
