pulse
Hi.. This is probably going to sound like a fairly daft question, to which I should know the answer.. but I don't, and I HAVE only had my mk4 for a few days It's an automatic. On the 'gearstick' there is an overdrive button. On the main transmission console there is also a MANU button (which I take it is the same as the 'power/econ' button on my mk3). There is also a red button, with Japanese writing under it. What's the red button do? It doesn't click on/off or anything, you can just push it down and as far as I can tell, it does nothing? Thanks -p
Faye
Hi Pulse, I think (thats big "I think" ) the red button is there to get the car out of 'P' (park) when the ignition is switched off or the key is not in the ignition. Faye

pulse
Aha! That makes sense, thanks Driving down the street pushing the little red button (which I was hoping would do something to make the car even faster;)) wondering what was wrong with it Cheers -p
