Pig Posted December 5, 2005 Share Posted December 5, 2005 MY boot lock has decided to go tonight! Dam car. Getting Sick of this at the moment. Seem like all i do on this site is research problems! Is there anyway of getting these fixed? or getting another barrel made up? i really dont want to have to replace all locks and dont want to carry 2 keys. May have to put up with it! Its quite easy to swap the internals of locks over - i did it on my supe, and several other cars - but it maybe a simple as the lever/wire coming off, it might be the catch - unless that still works from when you open the boot from inside? Now i presume your thinking frozen but its really not that cold in cambs at the mo. and the other locks work fine. I tried the spare key and couldnt get it in either!?!?! Glad its not too much effort to change, im thinking its a good excuse to get a push start!!! Looking forward to my noose mate! lol, cheers...About time One day ian, one day, hopefully not too soon though. I dont quite have the knowledge to deal with somthing serious!
