veilsideTT
Gearbox:- 2JZ-GTE AUTO 4-spd w/UK MANUAL DIFF Tyre:- Michelin all patterns 235/45 x 17 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Top Gear gives 33.079 MPH/1000 RPM and a top speed of 231.551 MPH at 7000 RPM Engine speeds in top gear:- 30 MPH = 907 RPM 40 MPH = 1209 RPM 50 MPH = 1512 RPM 60 MPH = 1814 RPM 70 MPH = 2116 RPM 80 MPH = 2418 RPM 90 MPH = 2721 RPM 100 MPH = 3023 RPM Top Speed in 1 gear = 58.218 MPH And changes into 2 gear at 3822 RPM dropping 3178 RPM Top Speed in 2 gear = 106.625 MPH And changes into 3 gear at 4572 RPM dropping 2428 RPM Top Speed in 3 gear = 163.244 MPH And changes into 4 gear at 4935 RPM dropping 2065 RPM Top Speed in 4 gear = 231.551 MPH I have to try this! nearly 60mph in 1st and look at that top speed:ecstatic: not that i will ever get there. Seriously though, i think this will be an awesome combo and i cant see much keeping up with a car that can hit over 105mph with only 1 gear change! terribleturner
I considered the 6speed conversion too, but your looking at £2k, and for that you might as well get the BL Auto box which will cope with the more power. Got my new TC sat at home which will go on while i'm still bpu. I thought to that i can us the turbo for about 550bh until i can get a few more pennies together for the BL box then increase to 650/700. veilsideTT
I got a good deal on my conversion bits, less than a BL upgrade anyhow. Its hard to decide on whats right to do, i love auto, i want to try 6speed, worry that ill want to go back to auto, wonder what my auto would be like with high stall, wonder what it will be like with high stall and 6spd diff, would i like BL upgrade The list is endless!
