2JG
Can anyone help me out?? I have a '96 n/a facelift supra and I need to replace the exhaust on it (cat back). I have been told that a TT cat back exhaust system will bolt straight on. I ordered my new exhaust only to discover that it was too big! The problem I have is that the current exhaust pipe diameter is 70mm (external) and this connects to a 65mm (external) cat converter pipe. Has anyone else come across this problem with their n/a supra or am I just being stupid??
Digsy
The pipe diameters are certainly different between NA and TT, but I believe (may be wrong) that if you had the cat in place it would still bolt straight on. I once tried to fit a TT exhaust to my NA and the gasket and joint to the main cat was the same even though the downstream pipe diameters and the joint / gasket diameters between the centre section and back box were definately different.
