Triple Plate Clutch

Be aware converting from (say) an HKS dual or triple plate to a stock type set up raises a LOT of issues, as whoever converted before will not have left all the expensive and not even in stock at Toyota Belgium bits and pieces removed to do the conversion, but needed to revert back to a sensible clutch. I now keep these bits in stock, should you want to go that route.

Wow what a response you guys are EXPERTS! before today i wasnt sure what my options were? NOW..............well iam kinda spoilt for choice!! dont get me wrong its a wickid piece of kit 4000rpm then booom :bang: Its not practical but iam kinda ok with it after some practice, but cant live with it!! personally i get kinda nervous when i stop & move off worrying if it slips, to ordinary people it looks like i stalled its embarrasing:looney:

I now suspect that the car may have had a large turbo before it was auctioned in Japan, the owner must have taken off the necessary parts to make it back to standard BHP! everyone in this thread thought it had some crazy horses under the bonnet when i told em bout tha clutch!!

What do u guys think? & how much do ya reakon it would cost to make it into 500+ BHP

My suggestion is phone Chris W now! I had the HKS clutch and know what you mean about driving through town in traffic. I used to stop with like 10ft in front of me just in case I gave it too much!

I phoned Chris and sorted out getting him the car. A bit later I have a stock clutch (slightly uprated thanks Chris!) and got charged way less than Mr T for way more service.

And I still have the old clutch up for sale guys if anyone wants it? less than 3k of miles on it and in brand new condition :)
