He is looking to expand and covers the northwest but also offers a postal service as well so if anyone wants his details then let me know or i will put his number in my signiture Mike ps bloody started to rain but the wheels are as new again

mkirby
wow!! didnt know polished lip alloys could be refirbed. yeh my volk split rims were that bad it looked like someone had gone round with a hammer and chisel and they were bent out after the previous owner had hit a pot hole!!! but fair play he bought them back!! I'm not in anyway linked to the guy (richard) but just he's done such a good job and i know how hard it is to find decent people to do like wheels etc Mike
Kev.O
Looks like a real good job. Is there any refurbisher's (sp) who do the inside of the wheel as well? Or is this not a done thing?

AJI
looking good. I have Blitz Z1 technospeed 18" alloys.... they have chrome (or it could be polished metal like yours). But they are 3-pice split rims.... would they fully refurb someting like that?
Nick
AJI - It's polished metal, if it was chrome I'd never have bought mine I need mine done too, haven't found a place that can do them yet.....
AJI
Mine aren't exactly scratched they are just starting to look a bit tired if you know what I mean. It needs a lot of polish on them for them to look as they once did. Saying that one of the alloys has a small stone chip on the polished metal.... is that someting a re-furb company can take out? From a distance they look good but very close up you can see little bits here and there where they need touching up. Good choice of alloy by the way Nick ! ;-)
mkirby
yep he can do them, my anteras have a polished rim but the volks were a 3 piece split rim and to make matters worse the forged outer rim is stainless on them and was bent so he had to be really careful bending them back but he sorted it Here was my volks wheels http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/emenu/datas2/VOLK/130_SFC/big.jpg Mike
roboldham
I got some Blitz Z1s One is scuffed around the rim and another has had a wanker car valet get some acid on it in a nasty cloudy streak. Could your wonder-man sort them do you think? What's his num? R
Nick
Does he take them apart for the refurb? One place I spoke to need the wheels and tyres for 5 days. One day for the job, and 4 to check that the seal didn't leak afterwards. I don't have a problem with that, but they couldn't do the polished lip. The finish isn't what it used to be with the salt and road grim over the years....
