Guru Posted November 5, 2005 Share Posted November 5, 2005 Ok here is a question I have been meaning to post for a few days. I am driving along as normal and the turbo has its natural whine and the stock wastegate is going like it is but under a certain amount of acceleration it makes an added noise. When pushing it to about 0.5 bar of boost which is average acceleration I hear this groan coming from the front. Now I hear this coming from the front right and its loud enough to notice but only happens when doing some speed already (not from take off). Doesn't affect acceleration or do anything but make the noise. My initial thought is a gasket under strain but you guys will ask the right questions for me to diagnose hopefully.
