adi2009
Hi, The other day after some hard driving i noticed that the coolant was boiling and saw this in the radiator overflow tank. however, the temperature gauge shows normal. I m still using the NA (5spd's) radiator and have an FMIC. any thoughts??? Edit: I am using 2 electrical cooling fans

adi2009
Ya, the fans are working. The main reason I installed the electric fans was because the TT motor didnt come with the stock clutch fan assembly.
uk-rich
at what temp do they operate, and then drop out at ? if the fans are workong correctly,i'd get a bigger rad, or risk damage to the engine
adi2009
The fans run always. But how come the temp gauge still shows normal temperature? Is it possible that an airlock in the system is causing the overheating?
uk-rich
when driving normally does it overheat ? you may have faulty gauge, or temp sensor, have you done a search for coolant air lock on here yet ?
