Nic
Max, I recently had a strange problem where my car suddenly stopped starting, despite the engine turning over strongly. Mine turned out to be a faulty/badly connected relay in the fuse box, swapped a couple of the relays around and it cured the problem. You should also make sure the connections to the battery and eath points are secure.
maxaerott
right ive checked there are no fault codes, theres voltage going to all the coilpacks and the fuses are in tact. which relays can i swap about and how do i know when they are working or not. cheers

maxaerott
hi ive just swapped them all around no joy !!! ive tried everything now could it still be the ignitor pack since there is voltage to the coilpacks? Max
ardasaliah
Might be worth a try- follow the spark cables up to a small black box on the right handside of the engine bay. It has a clip on it. Check its attached tightly. Any other symtoms before this happened
maxaerott
yes the car cut out when i was reversing then started back up but wouldnt rev above 1500rpm even when my foot was flat to the floor. then it cut out when i lowered the rpm and wouldnt start again. all the other electrics still work and the engine is spinning strongley. Whitesupraboy2
right ive checked there are no fault codes, This is weird...so your getting voltage to the Coil packs but no spark....well least we know where bouts problem is, to everyone else, what can go wrong between coil packs to spark plug? maxaerott
ive got to check today but theres voltage to the coilpacks on the igntion and when turning over but i dont think there is any spark. im lost big time!!!
Wez
Surely all three coil packs wouldnt fail at the same time, with only two good ones wouldnt the car at least try and start?
