Scoboblio
This may be a completely n00b question, but do you have to remove the front hubs in order to change the wheel studs? I'm having longer ones fitted and the answer to this will determine how much it'll cost....... And roughly how long does it take to do, with the proper machinery? Jake
Five minutes. They just push out. Takes longer to get the wheel off.
Scoboblio
Really? I've been told it's a garage job due to needing specialist equipment!!!! Is it really worth paying someone else to do or is it just a "get your hands dirty" job? Thanks Jake.
Jake
If they're seized in and won't knock out you'll need a press of some sort. But they should come out OK usually. I'd have a go myself first
Jake
Ian, I just did a search to check what I told you. Have a read of this thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=45178
Scoboblio
Cool, nice one, thanks again Looks like a much easier job than I've been told! Then again Toyota also told me it'd cost £420 + VAT to fit new calipers, disks, pads, lines and fluid Jake have you ever thought of writing a "how to search" guide? Every time I ask a question you get the answer on a thread I couldn't find
