What to do next on my car

In my NA-TT car i am still running the W58 transmission. I ve already bought a Getrag V161 along with an LSD differential, but i ve just made a parts list and all the miscellaneous parts + driveshaft + left side axle is gonna cost me 1600+ USD (950quid). Never expected these parts to add up to this figure. I m contemplating on what to do, should i do the transmission swap or leave the W58 (need an aftermarket pressure plate +500USD) and save towards a Single turbo!

Can`t you source these s/h? Bound to be someone breaking a TT supe.

 

Depends on what power you have, the 5 spd should be ok to 450bhp

I'd like to source some of the more expensive parts but you dont always come by them so easily. Plus i've had a problem with a trader while getting some used parts so trying to avoid it as much as possible.
