robin Posted April 1, 2021 Share Posted April 1, 2021 Driving home just now and the drivers window wouldnt go up. Sure enough after taking the door card off I can see the cable has come off the window. I think the motor is OK as it still whirs and that I probably just need a drivers side window regulator. Anyone know a good place to get one of these? Is it hard to fit? For now ive wedged the window shut with some wood Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mc92 Posted April 1, 2021 Share Posted April 1, 2021 It's fiddly to fit and the window adjustment is a bit of a pain in the bum to get right. Page BO-7 onward of the repair manual will help. I got one second-hand off a member but you can buy them new for about 200 pounds. Maybe there's a way to swap just the cable over like on a normal car but I haven't looked into it.
