Haltech elite 2500 - JDM Supra - do I need my TRAC control ECU???

I have a 93.5 JDM Supra RZ 6spd. When I first purchased in 2010 I ditched the Trac ECU because I did not like the way it managed wheel slip.. I recently installed my new Haltech 2500 Elite, seems to run fine after some minor remote tuning to AFR's and idle. Before I go to far and bring car to dyno/tuner after single turbo swap, do I need to reinstall the TRAC ECU ?

The Elite 2500 will do traction control really well. You can pick up the wheel speed signals from the T9 traction ecu ecu connector - that's a better place to get them as the signals have been cleaned up from the raw ones coming from the ABS wheel speed sensors.

That's exactly what I am doing on my Supra. I upgraded to 98+ ABS and will use the digital wheel speed outputs of the ABS ECU on the Elite for traction control. Just make sure to enable the internal pull-up resistors on the Elite.
