ellis
Two things to ask about today! 1. When the time comes I want to fit new pads and discs all round and was after advice as to the best pad/disc combo. Its a UK car by the way. Obviously they're great with standard kit on but I like to fit the best I can. 2. Springs. The standard springs have the car riding a bit too high for my liking and, in the next few months, would like to fit a set that give the car a more hunkered down look but without being stupidly low and catching every pebble on the road. Thanks in advance folks!
ellis
Right, just did a search and found a post by Chris Wilson suggesting staying with stock discs and upgrading the pads - so ignore the disc bit - just pad advcie then please!

Pig
ellis. i would suggest just standard. i only once have heated them up too much and therefore had problems stopping. i have new d + P (toyota) on the back and great D on front with new pads (Toyota) made the breaks feel better when the new pads were on. The expensive parts is not the disks its the pads. I would be very interested to hear what you do think if you went for CW pads. Cheers

Alex
Again see Chris he's got a good VFM setup. Or ask Vortex for some JIC FLT-A2's. For Pads. Carbotech from Vortex or Fast Road from Chris Wilson.
