Parksy Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 Possibly for sale. Don't like them to be honest and they could do with some TLC. Rather than spending cash on getting them refurbed I'm thinking of just selling wheels and tyres and getting a nice set of 18s' An honest description of them would be as follows: They are 17" Slit rims. Four decent tyres, all have 4 or 5mm still on them. Two of them have missing centre caps. All four on the outher rim have varying degrees of curbing (previous owner). No big chunks out. The wheel seems to have some kind of chroming on them, this is really dull on 3 of them, and the 4th looks to have been alloys the normal dull silver (possibly painted). The centres of the wheels as well are a bit worse for wear, corrosion damage visible on them as well as the two remaining centre caps. I know I have made them sound awful, but would rather be honest about them. Don't know if anyone would be interested in them to have them refurbed or not? Seemingly they are a very expensive wheel over in Japan & the US, just not my cup of tea. Tyres are... Front 235.45.17 Rears are 255.40.17 These of any interest to anyone possibly? Don't even know what a sensible offer would be considering the price to have them refurbed. There are 4 decent tyres on there though? Was hoping to sell em on for someone wanting to use them for track days or something, as I said above they ain't in what I would call good condition so was hoping to get shot of them with the tyres. The caps on there would need reconed as well I reckon, probably what you have in mind anyway I'm guessing?
